This year Vans began an art program initiative in Los Angeles bringing together the area’s six most promising new talents. Pictured above is Cole Gerst’s contribution. Gerst is an emerging LA-based artist who has, among other things, done CD art and posters for bands The Shins, Modest Mouse, Beck, Elliot Smith and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The Vans Sky Gallery will culminate with a group show in November.
