Upper Playground x Alex Pardee “Skull” x Sam Flores “Faces” Slip-Ons

Two sneak peeks at forthcoming offerings from Upper Playground. For one (”Skull” above, top) Upper Playground signed on artist Alex Pardee whose CV includes Warner Bros., Hurley International, and RIDE snowboards. The other (”Faces” above, bottom) is by artist Sam Flores whose work has been featured in such magazines as Mass Appeal, Juxtapoz, Urb and Wired. Both will retail for $60 and will be available this winter.
[...] We’ve been waiting some time now for San Francisco born Upper Playground to release their Winter 2007 sneaker line. Now, to “wet” our appetites a little more they have released this rather salty promotional commercial for their Slip-On collaboration with Fetch. We first brought you a peek at the Shark Slip-On in August. Still no word on an exact release date, but we’ll keep you abreast. Other Upper Playground models to look for this winter include the Alex Pardee “Skull,” the Sam Flores “Faces,” the “Forest” skate, the “Races,” and the DJK “Mug Shots.” [...]
