Tretorn, sister to Etonic, wants you to know that there’s more to love about Sweden than Volvos, Ikea, and Abba. This year, the 100-plus year-old shoe company is doing its best to reposition itself as a prominent fashion force in the sneaker world—and we think it might be working. Utilizing fine waxed canvases, seersucker, and chambray, the Swedish shoe legend few stateside have ever heard of has developed an Autumn line worth taking note of. Some of the offerings are modern updates on classic Tretorn styles and some arrive to the Tretorn family welcome newcomers, but all posses a casual refinement and understated spirit that make us swoon. We cannot wait to see more from our Scandinavian friends in the future. Enjoy more of the Autumn / Winter 2007 Tretorn line after the jump.
