New Balance took a look deep into their history rediscovering—and subsequently re-releasing—their iconic 1976 running shoe, the New Balance CM320. This year the folks at New Balance have been reissuing the 1976 No. 1 choice of “Runner’s World Magazine” in various color combinations: mostly bright and very flashy. An entire site, Shakenb, was built in homage of the rebirth of 320-cool complete with shoe history, catalog of reissues and video commentary from graffiti artists, designers, and developers. The latest colorings for the ongoing re-release are the first to embody a more subdued visage giving the shoe a real authentic 1970s track and field look. The new colorways are the “NV”—a blue and yellow combination, and the “WN”—a burgundy and white mix. Both are delectably vintage and can be purchased at Mita and like shops. Get to know the new 320 NV and WN after the jump.
