Unless you live in the heart of Ubiq’s hometown, Tokyo, we’re guessing you may have missed out on nabbing a pair of the “urban casual” Ubiq Preserens. Thankfully for all of us who can’t tell the difference between Ginza and Ginzu, Ubiq is re-releasing the Preseren for a limited time. A tasteful blend of leather, suede, and vulcanized rubber, this half-sneaker half-boot is available again in three colorways (black x grey, black x purple, black x green) for a relatively reasonable price (17,850 Yen. About 163.65 US$).

Yet another shoe that wants to look like it stepped in another shoe. At least it can do a little retro-nineties Eddy Vedder with a plaid shirt tied around his waist impression. I really love the way it looks like someone cut the sole off of some old skate shoes and just glued it to the bottom. If someone really did that, I would be impressed… hmmmm, I think I have some Vans way in the back of the closet, now if I can only find my scissors and glue.
