No, that’s not a new Converse. ATO, made famous overnight by Kanye West for their 2007 ATO Matsumoto, is taking their love of Velcro, metallic, and patent leather, and applying it to the frame of a high top Chuck Taylor. Featuring a zipper up the back and a Velcro strap enclosure, this new ATO certainly gives you options when it comes to putting on your shoes. At $252 US, however, those options don’t come cheap. Available in white, silver metallic, and black patent leather, exclusively in Japan at retailers such as Rowgage.
